
Unless you're 100% positive that what they're asking for is needed. Also, never trust someone that wants you to put in things like cookies, or what have you etc.

There's no way of telling which one it came from but when you find one or more, delete them immediately. So, do me a favor and look through all the logs on that computer and look for any signs of spyware or other malware that might have originated from those "freeware games" sites. Some research read here, discovered other suspicious sites linking to Cake Mania, also as an exe file which infects the computer after thorough searching on the net. Was this something that was a ploy by the programmers to make money or was this possibly some sort of spyware? To my amazement, there were tons of pop-ups that were extremely annoying and confounded me more than anything else.


I was curious so I went into the computer and downloaded it just to see what was inside. A while back, my brother-in-law was going through some old computer files and one of them was Cake Mania.
